Autos Subaru serán revisados por posible falla en el airbag del copiloto
De manera voluntaria, la empresa Inchcape Latam Perú S.A. informó al Indecopi, sobre el llamado a revisión de 3 130 vehículos de la marca Subaru, correspondientes a diversos modelos, ante una posible falla en el airbag del copiloto.
De acuerdo con la empresa, los modelos involucrados en esta campaña de revisión son los correspondientes a los modelos Legacy, Outback, WRX y Tribeca, fabricados entre los años 2010 y 2013.
En estos vehículos, el airbag del copiloto (fabricado por Takata Corporation) puede ser susceptible de humedecerse con el tiempo. Esta humedad al interior del airbag podría hacer que, al activarse en un eventual siniestro, genere un despliegue incorrecto ocasionando una posible lesión al ocupante.
La empresa exhorta a sus clientes, propietarios de dichas unidades, ponerse en contacto con ellos vía telefónica al número 630-3000 anexo 3077 o escribir al correo electrónico atencionalclientesub@inchacape.com.pe. Asimismo, pueden realizar una consulta directa, a través de su página web http://www.subaru.com.pe
La Dirección de la Autoridad Nacional de Protección del Consumidor estará atenta al cumplimiento de tales acciones para garantizar que los derechos de los consumidores sean respetados, de acuerdo al Código de Protección y Defensa del Consumidor.
