Here you can learn about the Hazardous Goods and Services Recall System implemented by Indecopi, as part of its role as National Consumer Protection Authority.
This system will help keep you informed and watchful of the latest product recalls issued by Indecopi, to help protect you against any problems that may occur with certain consumer goods, whether in Peru or around the world.
These consumer recalls are part of the ongoing monitoring and supervision duties carried out by the Consumer Authority, with the support of international early recall networks such as the Inter-American Rapid Recall System (SIAR, for its acronym in Spanish) and the informational notices issued by providers in order to prevent any risk or harm to their customers’ health.
These recalls are a quick and timely way to help you avoid purchasing dangerous or hazardous goods, so you can protect your peace of mind, or in some cases, even your life or that of your loved ones.

When checking the consumer recalls, make sure to keep the following points in mind:
- Providers must offer affected consumers preferential service at their business or establishments or through any other means they deem appropriate for such purpose. If you would like more information on this notification procedure, click here.
- If you are a provider and you would like to notify Indecopi of an unforeseen risk in your goods or services, download the forms here—Annex 1 or Annex 2—and submit them to Indecopi by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
