En el marco de las celebraciones por el Día Mundial del Consumidor, el Indecopi presenta una publicación dedicada a la Política Nacional de Protección y Defensa del Consumidor y el Plan Nacional de Protección de los Consumidores 2017 – 2020; ambos documentos de vital importancia para el fortalecimiento de la protección de los consumidores en todo el país.
Cabe señalar que, estas directrices, fueron aprobadas por la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros, mediante Decreto Supremo N° 006-2017-PCM y Decreto Supremo N° 024-2017-PCM, respectivamente, a propuesta del Consejo Nacional de Protección del Consumidor que preside el Indecopi en su calidad de Autoridad Nacional de Protección del Consumidor.
