Consumers’ Associations

As a consumer or user, there are consumers’ associations established for the protection and defense of your rights throughout the country. They also represent you and provide you with information on the different mechanisms and tools available to improve your consumer experience, whenever you buy a good or acquire a service.

In this section, we will explain what these associations are, how they are created, and where you can find them. You will also find details on the requirements for their registration with Indecopi, as well as their participation in Utilities User Boards (water and sewerage, electricity and natural gas, public transportation infrastructure, and telecommunications).
