The National Integrated Consumer Protection System consists of a set of principles, standards, procedures, techniques, and instruments that harmonize public policies on the protection of your rights, through an alliance between the central government, consumers, and the business community.

The National System is a tool for bolstering your protection and defense, as part of the implementation of the National Consumer Protection and Defense Policy, allowing for the effective solution of consumer disputes through inquiry, complaint, or claim mechanisms.

This system is organized through the National Consumer Protection Council, led by Indecopi. This structure makes it easy for all of the Council’s members to actively participate in the protection of your rights, establishing the most efficient possible guidelines and activities to consolidate a responsible consumer culture throughout Peru.

The National Integrated Consumer Protection System relies on Indecopi to strengthen its role as an institution, and on all of its members to improve the protection and defense of your rights, wherever you are located.

This work is the result of an alliance among public institutions, organized society, and the business community, who act as a team to comply with the National Consumer Protection and Defense Policy.

The following figure contains more details on the composition of the National System.
